Hazbin Hotel's Creator Is Aware of Fans' Second Season Bingo Cards — And She Has Positive Updates

The much-anticipated Season 2 of the musical adult cartoon Hazbin Hotel arrives on Prime Video soon, and fan speculation has been intense.

Season 1 presents a diverse group of personalities residing in Hell and Heaven, pits them against each other accompanied by musical numbers about their clashes, and builds heated competitions and angsty, affectionate connections that drive audience devotion.

The fandom's stated hopes for season 2 vary widely, but certain threads emerge over and over: Could a fan-favorite character break free from Valentino? Might we learn more about the mysterious "deal" affecting the enigmatic Alastor? Will [favorite character] and [other character] finally get together?

"Obviously, I don't make the show with audience demands as the main goal," the creator commented earlier this year. "However I feel like me being a devotee of the series implies there's a lot of it just inherently. I also want to see these things, and I want some of these things to occur, and obviously some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

The creator says her big-picture plan is for five seasons of Hazbin Hotel. Seasons 3 and 4 have already been green-lit by Prime Video and A24, which produce the series.

That might mean fans have to be patient for some of the biggest payoffs — but they may be surprised at how quickly the new season moves, and how much of what they're anticipating happens now.

"I feel like people are going to be highly satisfied," the creator notes. "We get some firsts. I think we get some really amazing reveals, some really cool origin tales, and even just simple things, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] Audiences will experience much more singing from the characters we didn't get to hear before."

She's certainly aware of the guesses and hopes about the upcoming season — particularly in the form of fan bingo cards.

"I've come across a couple people make a bingo card about the new season," she says. "Naturally I can't post it, but I've already completed a few items, and nearly every one of them have almost a bingo. I thought, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that leads me to believe we accomplish much [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I was like, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that brings me joy."

Hazbin Hotel the second season launches on Prime Video on October 29.
